As our Mission Personnel Officer, your role will involve acting as the first point of contact for our mission enquirers, providing warm and friendly support through the application process and beyond! This role provides ongoing administrative and HR support to our Mission Personnel to enable them to thrive in the places they serve. This includes enabling the:

• selection, preparation, support and debriefing of Christian mission workers
• collation, updating and advertising of overseas recruitment opportunities
• updating of policies and procedures, including insurance, personnel handbooks, and travel
• maintenance of accurate records using an electronic database
• strengthening of internal communication.

The successful applicant will be a committed Christian. The nature of this role means that this is a specific occupational requirement.

Key information

This role can be office-based or hybrid. The role includes hosting visitors to the office and so is required to be present in the Didcot office on those days.  There is scope to work from home some of the time.  The cost of travel to BMS Didcot whether on a regular basis or infrequently, would be borne by the employee.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in researching and applying to grant applications in order to help the team raise as much funding as possible to support people experiencing homelessness across London.

About the role:

Role Description

This new role of Programme Officer (Social Change) will play an integral part in ensuring our grant making has the best possible impact. Working with the Programme Manager (Social Change) and the wider Impact Team, you will be the first point of contact for potential grant applicants and deliver effective processes that ensure that anyone who applies to us for funding has a positive experience, whether they are successful or not. You will lead on all aspects of administering our Social Change grant calls and provide the rest of the team with the information needed to support robust and transparent decision-making. Role Responsibilities:

Administering grant processes:

· Working with the Programme Manager (Social Change) to update application and guidance forms for each funding round

· Work closely with colleagues to set up the grant call in our online grant management system.

· Provide guidance to potential applicants and respond to their queries, e.g. about eligibility.

· Work with colleagues who run the research funding programme to ensure that opportunities for efficiencies and shared processes are maximised

· Process grant applications, ensuring that we adhere to the highest standards of grant making

· Assist with the preparation of papers to support our decision-making processes, including supporting our Social Change Grants Assessment Panel (SGAP) by ensuring they have all relevant information and that the meetings run smoothly.

Epic is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Development Officer to grow our fundraising and development efforts. A fundraiser at heart who loves to convince and win people over. 

The Development Officer will be responsible for all aspects of daily fundraising activities for Epic’s key segments of donors (high net worth individuals (HNWI) and intermediaries, entrepreneurs, corporations), including building and managing a database of new leads, outreaching and nurturing. 

This position is based at Epic’s office in central London (St James SW1). 

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Development Director, the missions of the Development Officer are as follows:

1. Contribution to Epic’s Fundraising Strategy in the UK

• Collaborative work with the UK Development Director to shape and execute the fundraising strategy, bringing forth new ideas, networks and results to ensure Epic meets its income targets

• Lead outreach efforts to expand Epic’s potential donor database in the UK : monitor the fundraising ecosystem and engage in proactive cold outreach through Growth campaigns, LinkedIn, emailing, as well as in-person and digital networking activities, including attending at least one event per week which may extend into late afternoon/evening

• Conduct desktop research on individuals, sectors, and event-specific topics as required

• Provide support to other development initiatives and projects as needed.

2. Lead Conversion

• Set conversion objectives and support conversion from leads to donations

• Identify lead opportunities within networks and events, setting priorities accordingly

• Pitch Epic and its various Giving Solutions to potential donors, and build tailored-made proposals when needed

• Maintain high discipline and consistency in follow-up with leads and donors : use Epic’s CRM to build a consistent pipeline of prospects and handle the management of the database with accurate opportunities and donor and gift records 

• Evaluate and monitor the return on investment (ROI) of events and fundraising campaigns 

• Prepare compelling fundraising communications, materials and presentations for donor meetings and events 

3. Nurturing & engaging the UK Community

• Contribute to Epic’s engagement strategy for current donors to ensure an 80% renewal rate

• Maintain regular touchpoints with a subgroup of donors through activities such as sharing monitoring reports, organising field visits in the UK, and scheduling regular calls and face to face meetings. Act as the main point of contact for donors and answer to their enquiries in a timely manner

• Manage community-related administrative tasks to streamline donation processes and act as the main point of contact for donors to answer to their enquiries in a timely manner

• Craft engagement opportunities such as UK events and webinars, including drinks, talks, breakfast events, and annual gala nights. Support will be provided by our in-house dedicated Events team.

Position Requirements : 

• Candidate must have the right to work in the United Kingdom

• Excellent level of English (both spoken and written), basic level of French (written and spoken) required

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a sales, fundraising or business development role, preferably in the non-profit sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable networking in very different communities and strategic desk research and analysis

• Strong self-discipline and project management skills

• Strong interest in data analysis 

• Ease with database management and knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

Job purpose and key responsibilities

As per our 2030 Vision, CARE and our partners aim to support 200 million people from the most vulnerable and excluded communities to overcome poverty and social injustice. This role sits within CARE International UK’s Programme Funding Team, which is critical to the achievement of CARE’s vision as we lead high-quality bidding processes with UK-based institutional donors and large foundations.

As a Programme Development Officer, you will play a key role in the delivery of CIUK’s donor diversification strategy seeking to secure funding from and strengthen CIUK’s relationships with non-FCDO donors. The post-holder will lead proposal development processes for accountable grants up to £1.5M. You will also work with other programme development specialists to contribute to the programme design and proposal submissions for larger or more complex programmes such as those funded by FCDO or the European Commission.

The post holder will work closely with technical teams, CARE Country Offices and other partners to identify and monitor exciting funding opportunities, and which showcase CARE’s programme innovation, and which deliver impact as well as full cost recovery for CIUK. The post holder will be the primary contact person and manage CIUK’s relationship engagement with allocated donors.

Post holders will work internationally and be exposed to a range of technical approaches in varied thematic areas and geographies across CARE’s work. High Trees are seeking a dynamic and creative Community Capacity Building Officer to provide tailored development support to local organisations and manage projects relating to sector support. Role Summary:

The Teacher Development Trust are seeking an energetic, curious and highly organised Marketing & Recruitment Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for education and the important work of teachers and schools. They will  play a pivotal role in increasing our reach and impact by promoting our offers to schools, trusts and other education sector organisations, generating leads and supporting school engagement by executing effective marketing strategies.

Location: TDT’s offices are based in Finsbury Park. This role is mainly home-working, however applicants will need to be a commutable distance to the London office to take part in team days or other face to face meetings as required.

We have an excellent track record of developing staff within the charity, as well as staff who have taken their careers into schools, other charities and the public sector.

Particular to the Marketing and Recruitment Officer, guided by  by the School Engagement Manager:

• To contribute to the creation of strategic marketing plans to promote Teacher Development Trust's services.  Helping to shape activity to provide a better understanding of the efficacy and reach of our products and services and ensuring that information and data are shared effectively across the organisation.

• To utilise various marketing channels including digital platforms, social media, website and traditional marketing methods including email and newsletters, to reach target audiences.  You will collaborate with the team to create and distribute compelling content, promotional materials and campaigns.

• To stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities and share this information as appropriate across the organisation to put TDT in the best position to respond in the advancement of our charitable aims and objectives.

• To support the planning and organisation of events such as workshops, webinars and conferences to showcase Teacher Development Trust's offerings and coordinate TDT presence at external events.  This will include representing the organisation at events to network and promote our services.

• To work closely with the internal teams, including the content development and participant experience teams, to ensure seamless service delivery, satisfaction, retention and brand loyalty.  You will also collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to explore potential synergies and business opportunities.

• To support the wider interaction between the organisation and the sector, in particular supporting carefully planned and considered marketing and communications activity as well as responding to emerging news stories and other agendas.  Where appropriate this may include working with journalists and other key sector influencers.

Experience, qualities and skills:

• Proven experience in marketing roles either within the education sector or elsewhere.

• Knowledge of the current educational landscape, including an understanding of professional development or a genuine interest in developing that knowledge.

• An active interest in continuously developing both generalist and technical marketing expertise.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present information clearly, striking the correct tone with a range of internal and external audiences.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent problem solving skills and the initiative to continuously improve.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (Salesforce, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Asana, Divi, Wordpress)  would be an advantage but not essential - the appetite to learn is essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• A strong commitment to education, the non-profit sector and improving educational outcomes for children and young people.

Supporter Engagement Officer

Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.

The Supporter Engagement Officer will play a key role in engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Tyndale House through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. One of our ambitious plans for 2024 and beyond includes a capital campaign to rebuild our 1960s library into a state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for people to work with us to make this vision a reality.

The successful candidate will be integral to achieving our strategic priorities of generating income through repeat support, and providing exceptional journeys for our community of supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. The role will provide strategic support to the Director of Engagement and work with the communications and development team to ensure that our outputs are cohesive and coherent.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally within the Charity sector. He/she will be a self-starter, highly motivated and with the ability to work well as part of a team.
