We are looking for a Personal Assistant and Office Administrator to provide executive support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as well as adding administrative capacity to the Support Team. 

Our mission is to show Christ's love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We run a number of programmes, including Angel Tree, Sycamore Tree, Prayer Line and Pastoral Care.

This position is 35 hours per week across five days. This role is based in our office in London (SW1). We are open to discussions about flexibility.

Role Summary

This role will continue the development of the ‘City Rise’ brand, creating a distinct tone of voice with a strong, recognised design style. Through a range of communication channels including copy, print, web, videography, photography, social media, internal signage and  visuals, this role will actively collaborate with ministries to promote, capture and convey the energy and life of our diverse and growing community.

Role Responsibilities

• Effectively create and deliver the communications strategy, in line with the vision and missional objectives.
• Serve the City Rise vision by contributing to the wider operations and ministries of the church where needed.
• Grow a team and establish a creative community at City Rise - Identify, develop and support a team of volunteers who can dream and deliver creative ideas to enrich our vision and mission in line with our values.
• Identity, develop and lead a team of volunteers for involvement in Sunday services & key events throughout the year, developing a consistent style of photography and videography across services and events, including editing all Sunday and midweek content, compiling/organising photos.
• Manage all digital platforms and access to church accounts.
• Socials - Manage all social media accounts and continually develop ways to grow and engage viewers, including concept creation and development of social media campaigns, and creating and designing social media content from Sunday and weekly events, scheduling and posting as required.
• Create templates and oversee social media delivery for other ministries e.g. youth and young adults.
• Design and produce print and digital assets, from lanyards and flyers to signs and T-shirts. (for e.g. online, Sunday services and other events and ministries) ensuring all publicity adheres to our brand guidelines.
• Website - Design, review and update content of the website as necessary.
• Digital Display - Oversee and create the media used through screens onsite: notices, adverts and slides.
• Communicate effectively, both internally (with leadership and team volunteers) and externally (relating to our broader community).
• Support the termly planning for events and activities, attending planning meetings for creative input as required.

We're looking for a temporary Revenue & Income Officer to join Your Place and be part of our dedicated team to help us with our mission to solve homelessness in east London, one person at a time!

About the role
Based within the Resident Services team, the Revenue Officer will play a critical role to help deliver an effective and high performing rent collection and recovery service in accordance with legislation, the organisation’s policies, set performance targets and customer satisfaction requirements.

In collaboration with the RSM and RI Team Leader and Finance Team to ensure that Your Place are compliant with all regulations and using robust policy and procedures. Support with the set up of the new Pyramid system and ensuring the right systems are in place to effectively manage the Revenue and Income stream and arrears of the organisation.

Maximising the organisation’s Revenue and Income by liaising with both internal and external partners including the Resident Services, Keyworkers, HB, DWP and directly with residents., and effectively managing the arrears.

This role will also manage the impact of welfare reform provisions, ensuring an effective advice and support service to residents to manage risk on revenue and income levels.

Other responsibilities include

• Investigating and support clients with Housing Benefit Appeals
• To support our project to transfer all accounts from Inform to Pyramid
• Investigate and support to manage Overpayment Claims from Housing Benefit
• Ensure rent accounts are up to date and correct. Checking HB entitlements against PC rates and requesting adjustments accordingly.
• Chasing ex resident arrears
• To manage resident rent and accommodation charge accounts and other former resident debts, on a regular basis identifying trends and patterns on individual accounts and then liaise with Support Workers or residents to rectify income issues and address arrears in line with policies and procedures
• To contribute towards the continuous improvement of performance in line with the organisation’s service plan targets
• To work collaboratively and closely with the Finance officer and Revenue and Income Team Leader to ensure all rent accounts tally.

About you

• Demonstrable experience of working in a supported housing environment in a similar or related role for at least 5 years
• GSCE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience of working with software applications including Microsoft office and bespoke IT Systems.

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity embedded in the local community, providing practical support and training to people affected by homelessness and addictions so they can rebuild their lives. We have a Recovery Hub in Shoreditch, where we run an abstinence-based residential recovery service (‘Acorn House’), and a Training and Development service, including tutor-led art, creative writing, digital skills, gardening, literacy, and woodwork. In addition, we run Housing First and Supported Housing services, both in East London. SCT Progressions Programme 

1. Identifying SCT residents and students ready to pursue ETE opportunities: 

• Collaborate with SCT tutors and managers, particularly the Therapeutic Programme Manager and Supported Housing Manager, to identify those who may benefit from the support on offer. 

• Cultivate strong relationships with SCT’s social enterprises and shops to establish clear pathways for volunteering and trainee opportunities for those who access our services. 

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualised Progression Plans, and evaluate progress according to each person’s needs, strengths and aspirations, involving key internal and external partners as appropriate. 

1. Providing information, advice, and guidance regarding ETE opportunities: 

• Offer information, initial advice, and guidance on employment, voluntary work, and further education opportunities. 

• Promote SCT's work to external partners to maximise ETE opportunities for those who access our services.

Building relationships with other statutory and non-statutory agencies in local communities is vital to build referral pathways and provide a whole system approach to supporting individuals.

To carry out this work you will meet women in the community in your designated borough and co-locate with other agencies including the National Probation Service, as well as regularly attending Advance’s Women’s Centre/office space.

You will be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder and has good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions.

Learning with Parents supports all families to have positive learning interactions together and leads the sector to learn what works in tackling inequality.

In partnership with 150 primary schools, we support families across the UK to enjoy learning together at home. Our child-led videos and hands-on family activities replace traditional homework. Through behavioural insight research, innovative technology and teacher training, we ensure that as many families as possible are supported effectively.

We are working to improve parental engagement across the sector, by producing evidence of parents’ impact and generating insights into how schools can best support them. Learnings are disseminated through the Parental Engagement Forum and amplified through the Fair Education Alliance.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a School Partnership Officer to help us grow and extend the reach of our Learning with Parents programme. 

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across project management at a fast-paced education-tech charity. We are a small team, and the School Partnership Coordinator will play a key role in enabling us to deliver our programme strategy.

Core areas of responsibility

Programme support

• Assist the School Partnership Managers with support for the schools using our Reading Log, including having calls with those schools
• Collaborate with the Schools Team to help schools get started on the programme 
• Send reminders to schools on their next actions
• Update the schools database and organisations database with the relevant programme information
• Support the Schools Team to deliver timely tech support for both schools and parents using our programmes
• Support with pulling together school impact summaries
• Support with the invoicing and contracts for school partners, including supporting the Schools Team with ensuring school invoices are paid
• Support with any programme admin as directed by the school team. 

External communications

• Manage the general inbox for the charity
• Sort parent feedback comments and photos for marketing materials and impact summaries 
• Support with creating marketing materials such as emails and and flyers
• Update the charity social media accounts including our X, LinkedIn and Facebook pages.

General administrative support

• Other administrative support as required by the wider organisation, such as office procurement, general research, organising events and booking travel.

About You

A successful School Partnership Officer will be eager to work in a small team, have a can-do attitude, and be keen to get stuck in to support the charity’s growth and impact.

As an Outreach & Development Worker you will ensure carers of all ages and backgrounds are aware of their rights and know how to receive support from Gaddum and other services they need at the right time for them. 

You will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.

Aims of the Position

To provide specialist and culturally competent support in mother tongue and to address the immediate and long-term needs of Kurdish, Middle Eastern and North African (KMENA) women who might be at risk or survivors of Domestic Abuse, Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation and the so-called Honour-Based Abuse (Harmful Practices). To meet women’s needs through provisions of information, advice, and advocacy case work, as well as signposting and referrals to appropriate services.

Main Duties

➢ To receive initial referrals, identify and assess the needs of service usersin accordance with KMEWO’s Policies & Procedures for efficient and timely responses to their issues.

➢ To offer information, advice, and intersectional advocacy to KMENA women and girls who are affected by domestic Abuse and Harmful Practices.

➢ To carry out comprehensive risk assessments and draw safety plans for service users supporting them to access safe accommodation/refuge and referring them to specialist agencies if needed.

➢ To maintain accurate and up to date records, files, and case notes in accordance with KMEWO’s policies and procedures. 

➢ To gather statistics and data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, providing reports as required. ➢ To ensure that service users can access interpreting services when required.

➢ To work closely with partner agencies to manage risk appropriately, deliver coordinated and comprehensive support packages and to make appropriate referrals to other services as required.

➢ To be updated of developments and legislation around issues affecting service users.

Harris Hill is working with an arts based charity, supporting their search for a Marketing Coordinator for 3 months, on a hybrid basis with 2dpw in their London office.

Main responsibilities:

Coordinate a programme of marketing activity to generate awareness, conversion and retention of Young People, including UK students. Work with Head of Youth Marketing to ensure an inclusive scheme(s) that reflects and represents the broadest and most diverse student audience.
