About Just Fair
Established in 2011, Just Fair exists to realise a fairer and more just society in the UK by monitoring and advocating for the protection of economic and social rights (ESR) including the rights to health, education, social security, work and an adequate standard of living (housing, food and water).
We are a small and hardworking team dedicated to increasing public awareness of human rights law and the capability to use it. We are also committed to the advancement of high-quality research, thinking, training and practice to ensure that ESR are respected, protected and fulfilled.
About the role
You will perform a key role within the organisation, working with the Director to drive its evidence-based advocacy and campaigning activities.
We are looking for a person committed to social justice and human rights. You will have research, campaigning, and advocacy experience in a related field, bring a dynamic and collaborative approach and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
As part of a small team you will be able to work independently and use your initiative. You will have excellent office skills and the ability to work flexibly where required. You will work with, and sometimes manage volunteers.
Knowledge and understanding of international human rights law and domestic law on socio-economic rights is required. It will not be possible to obtain a work permit for this position; you must be fully eligible to work in the UK.
