A fantastic opportunity to use your skills to lead a team making a real difference in the lives of some of Coventry's most vulnerable women. Responsible for two Senior Practitioners, together you will lead KairosWWT’s range of projects and inspire confidence in our dedicated staff and volunteers. You will be a forward-looking yet grounded individual, capable of inspiring and motivating others. You will work with the Board of Trustees to deliver Kairos’ organisational and fundraising strategy for 12 months whilst the current Director is on maternity leave.
You will be passionate about speaking up on behalf of women who are sexually exploited and who face severe and multiple disadvantage. As an excellent communicator, you will be able to engage a wide range of partners and develop relationships with commissioners, funders and stakeholders to positive effect, particularly in raising funds from UK trusts and foundations. Supporting and empowering people is an intuitive skill for you. Financial planning skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure, respond to new challenges and remain supportive and focused. Working as part of a small team, you will be willing to get stuck in and work flexibly when required.
We are looking for the right candidate to start this role in early October 2019, which will include a month of handover time with the current Director.
