Litter Heroes Ambassador Manager
Salary: £37,000 - £39,000p.a. (dependent on location)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, permanent
Location: Wigan or London (please note that this role will initially be working from home)
Keep Britain Tidy is an iconic charity providing first-class solutions to the environmental challenges we face. We have a heritage stretching back more than 60 years, but we are as relevant today as we have always been, campaigning for a cleaner, greener environment for everyone. As the country’s leading anti-litter charity, we work tirelessly to combat waste and neglect and using our world-class research we develop game-changing campaigns and programmes.
We are looking for a people person with a proven track record of working with volunteers to act as the focal point for our growing national network of Keep Britain Tidy #LitterHeroes Ambassadors.
Skilled in the use of social media to build virtual national networks of supporters, the successful candidate will ensure the local work of our ambassadors is regularly profiled across all the charity’s communications channels.
They will also be experienced in developing and delivering resources for volunteers and be able to support ambassadors in securing local funding via grant-making organisations and have the ability to assess the feasibility of developing an individual giving offer for Keep Britain Tidy.
