Kenward Trust has a national reputation for excellence in the field of Drug and Alcohol treatment and rehabilitation.
We are recruiting for a Senior Drug and Alcohol Worker who will act as lead to the Recovery Worker team. The successful candidate will be required to have a minimum of 18 months experience of working within the sector and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of Drug and Alcohol issues and treatment.
The role will include:
- Participation in the delivery of therapeutic interventions, both group and individual.
- Responsibility for a personal caseload, ensuring active engagement, participation and involvement within the recovery programme.
- Ensuring the delivery of care to all residents meets the required high standards of The Trust and Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Applicants must be willing/ able to wear a mask in accordance with the Trusts Covid policy
Competitive starting salary
This is a full time 37.5 hour a week role
This role is primarily a Monday - Friday (9am -5pm) role with some weekend working required when necessary
This is a demanding but rewarding role and candidates need to be able to work well under pressure, be able to think quickly and use their own initiative. We require strong team players who can build relationships with Residents and embrace diversity
