Job description
Harris Hill are actively seeking a Key Relationships and Fundraising Manager on behalf of an international children's charity. The organisation's goal is to bring genuine hope to children in the world's hardest places.
Based in Milton Keynes this role is responsible for leading the strategic direction in three key areas, individual major donor giving, individual mid-level donor giving and gifts from trusts & foundations.
Key responsibilities
- Leadership and support of a team of high performing key relationship executives ensuring they implement their plans and drive income generation
- Development and management of a portfolio of major donors and grant giving trusts and foundations
- Working closely with the operations manager to identify a portfolio of programmes that require funding
- Management of income targets as required by the organisation
- Effective communication of the organisation's mission and goals and ensure that donor's are fully engaged in the direction of the organisation
Experience and skills
- A strong track record of managing relationships with major donor's and grant giving trusts and foundations
- Previous experience of developing and leading a high performing team of senior fundraisers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management/development skills with the ability to build partnerships with major donors and trusts
- Belief and awareness of Christian values and principles would be advantageous for this roles
