Job description

At the King’s Arms Project, we believe that there is no such thing as a hopeless case.  We refuse to give up on anybody and believe that everyone can have a bright future.  We have been supporting people out of poverty for over 30 years and have seen many overcome incredible adversity and go on to achieve incredible personal success.  

We’re looking for new Support Worker(s) to help bring hope, community and opportunity into the lives of homeless people. If you’re passionate about loving the poor and supporting the disadvantaged, we want to hear from you! 

The Nightshelter currently hosts up to 6 residents. We are a 24/7 service which welcomes people in urgent need of accommodation. Our clients come from various backgrounds and have different levels of support needs ranging from low to high. We provide for their basic needs and signpost them to internal and external professional services for each individual personal needs. 

Our current vacancies are based on an average of 40 hour per week working a rota of days, evenings and nights. Some weekend work will also be required. Part Time working will also be considered. This is a fixed post until 31st Dec 2021.
