Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Philanthropy Manager – Health to significantly increase philanthropic income across King’s College London (KCL).

The Senior Philanthropy Manager – Health will use their fundraising experience and communication skills to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy with a focus on major gifts (£100,000 - £3,000,000 gift level).

They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects, securing and stewarding major gifts, supporting senior stakeholders with fundraising efforts, working collaboratively with their fundraising colleagues, and championing the work/priorities of the University.

The University is currently in the planning stages of a major new philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the University’s current fundraising activity. Reporting into the Head, Philanthropy - Health, this role will play a crucial role in delivering the campaign and the University’s health fundraising priorities.

KCL is one of the top 10 UK Universities in the UK (Times Higher Education Rankings 2022), the fourth oldest university in England and is located in the very heart of the London. The University is also the largest healthcare learning centre in Europe, incorporating three teaching hospitals and providing a home to more than 27,000 students (including nearly 10,500 postgraduates) from 150 countries.
