Job description

It's an exciting time to be joining Superhighways to help create and deliver a new data and digital skills programme - Datawise London, for London’s small local charities and community groups, ensuring data is at the heart of the services they provide to meet the needs of Londoners.

Our training and advice will help them evidence need in their communities, capture and explore data in a measured and robust way - using it to inform future services and activities. We'll also show them how to share their amazing stories of change - inspiring action.

You'll be someone who has a passion for the difference data can make. You'll be as comfortable crunching numbers, analysing datasets and acting on insights as you are facilitating motivational workshops. Your excellent communication skills will help non-technical learners develop the confidence and critical thinking skills they need to get started with anlaysing data and developing their organisation's data maturity.

Your reponsibilities will focus on creating and delivering data skills training via group training sessions, webinars and 1:1 surgeries. You'll also be researching and testing digital tools suitable for small local civil society organisations, from spreadsheets to databases, online forms and data analysis / visualisation tools.

You'll be piloting data expeditions, developing case studies and matching clients with pro-bono data expertise. You'll also be working with some brilliant partners that we'll be collaborating with on this project, ranging from data scientists to equalities and technical experts.

We're a hard working, fast paced and friendly team that's dedicated to helping small not-for-profits create the change they want to see in London, backed by the technology that works for them. We look forward to meeting you soon.
