Responsible to: Operations Manager
Location: Chorley, with travel to other areas of Lancashire and South Cumbria

Lancashire Mind is the leading mental health charity in Lancashire. Our work enables people in Lancashire to value and take care of their mental health. Our passionate and dedicated team challenge misconceptions about mental health, develop resilience in people from an early age and work with communities to improve mental wellbeing.

We are at a key point in the development of our training programme as we build on our current workplace wellbeing service to support more businesses to improve wellbeing across their workforce. As part of this development, over the next 12 months, we are leading a partnership of training providers to deliver suicide prevention interventions across Lancashire and South Cumbria as part of the Integrated Care System (ICS) suicide prevention and reduction scheme.

We want to build on our existing training and workplace wellbeing service to broaden our delivery and we now seek an experienced Admin Worker to add capacity to our team. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, and in liaison with colleagues in the Training and Community Development Teams, the Administrative Worker will provide day-to-day support to enable the smooth running of the organisation.

You will work closely with these two teams to support delivery, including handling calls, responding to enquiries, organising bookings, preparing resources for sessions and collating feedback from participants. You will provide support to Lancashire Mind staff based in the office in Chorley, as well as to those who are based remotely across Lancashire, and to delivery partners.

We seek someone who has experience of carrying out administrative tasks in a busy environment, who can manage their own workload, works well as part of a team and is a confident communicator. You will need to be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including members of the public, people who use our services, partner organisations, delivery staff, local businesses, etc.
