Job description

Job Title: Transformational Coach

Hours: full-time, 35 hours per week (fixed term contract until 31 December 2021 – subject to funding)

Salary: NJC point 14 £ (21,462) to 19 (£24,799)

Location: Based in Chorley with extensive travel across Lancashire

Funding: The Changing Futures project is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

 

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and innovative individual to work as a Transformational Coach as part of the Changing Futures Project.

The Changing Futures (Building Better Opportunities) project for Lancashire is a multi-partner delivery model that aims to support those most at risk of exclusion from the labour market and identify, reduce and/or remove barriers to engagement and employment for people aged 16+.

Changing Futures is part of the Building Better Opportunities programme for Lancashire, funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

The posts will sit within our team of Wellbeing Coaches. Wellbeing Coaches work both 121 and in groups to support individuals to better self-manage their emotional health and wellbeing.  The Coaches also help people to overcome barriers to mental wellbeing utilising a range of tried and tested techniques to help people be happier and healthier.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with individuals that services typically fail to reach. You will have knowledge of offering holistic support to individuals who may experience chaotic lifestyles, have excellent communication skills and be well organised.
