Job description

Laureus Sport for Good has developed significantly since its inception in 2000 and over the past 20 years has developed a network of grantee partners and charitable infrastructure worldwide that now spans more than 40 countries. Sport for Good has in this time developed a depth of understanding and a corresponding credibility in its field and is recognised as a leading organisation in the sport for development sector. Sport for Good has a unique and innovative business model which underpins its work, with growth being driven through the acquisition of new partners and donors.


The growth and complexity of the organisation, requires a Senior Development Manager to drive revenue and secure Sport for Good’s ongoing success and growth with a focus on Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.


 To lead, develop and manage specific activities of the Fundraising and Development team to secure income for Laureus in line with the strategic requirements of the organisation
 To support the drive towards a diversification of funding sources, both geographically and in terms of the nature of the funder, with a focus on major institutional donors
 To facilitate close liaison between the Programmes team and the Fundraising and Development team so that fundraising efforts match Programme requirements
 To lead, manage and motivate a team of Development Managers and other staff, driving success for the organisation and individually
