About the role:
We are looking for a Head of Marketing and Fundraising to join our friendly team with excellent organisational and communication skills, someone who can lead and deliver a high standard of service.
This position is part time (2-3 days per week). It is a fixed term contract for 18 months but there is a possibility that it may be extended.
The role will provide strong leadership and direction for the Marketing and Fundraising Team. You will champion a marketing culture across the Charity at all levels to achieve growth and new income streams such as legacy funding or major grants. The post holder will also oversee the planning and delivery of our annual Gala event/60th Anniversary.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive and senior management to develop a fundraising strategy and action plan to ensure all activities are developed and financial targets are achieved.
The Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the charity sector including relevant legislations.
Candidates must have knowledge and proven record of successfully winning sizeable grants from major funders, ideally including the Big Lottery and major Charitable Trusts.
You will have strong stakeholder engagement and management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, successfully delivering projects on time and to budget.
