Job description

Our Communications team plays a crucial role in telling the story of our work and its impact, building our profile, our media presence, our brand and managing our reputation. As part of our ongoing commitment to increasing awareness and understanding of our work, we are expanding and reshaping the team to enable us to adopt a more strategic, pro-active and integrated approach to our communications activities.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the PR & Digital Manager will have a key role in the team, setting and delivering our PR and Digital goals, working with colleagues from across the organisation to ensure our media engagement and messages are consistent with our vision, mission and  values, while  constantly monitoring and evaluating to ensure our success is based on learning.

You will use a range of different channels to spread key messages, build relationships with local and national partners including the media, and manage campaign activities.

You will also support the fundraising team to develop new income generation campaigns via our digital channels, ensuring income growth grow year on year.

The role is a varied one and involves working across the charity and the NHS on many projects at any given time.
