Job description

LJWB is looking for a Finnace Assistant to join friendly team and great organization. 

As part of a small but highly motivated Finance Team you will support the recording and retrieval of financial transactions through the maintenance of records including but not limited to, asset management, investment reconciliations, sales & purchase ledger processing, petty cash and cash handling.

As someone looking to develop their financial skills and or studying towards a financial qualification you will support the Management Accountant in the production of monthly accounts utilising SAGE 50 and special care services software, preparing sales invoices, payroll data and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will be the first point of contact for all customers wishing to use our cash office facilities at the Community Centre and will assist in dealing with cash and online payments for sales invoicing, petty cash reimbursements, client account cash transactions etc. Experience and cash handling skills are essential.

This is a busy but rewarding environment which offers an excellent opportunity to become involved in and develop a full range of financial skills and experience.

 

Essential Skills:

Finance & reconciliations skills

Cash handling

Experience in customer service and dealing with the general public

Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills

The ability to work individually or part of a team

Reading, Writing & Mathematics Skills

Excellent IT Skills
