Job description
Harris Hill are actively seeking a Legacy and Remembrance Gifts Manager on behalf of an international children's charity. The organisation's goal is to bring genuine hope to children in the world's hardest places.
Based in Milton Keynes the purpose of this role is to develop and implement a high value legacy marketing programme for new and existing markets.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop a fundraising strategy that informs supporters about the opportunity to leave a gift in their will
- To take lead responsibility for ensuring that legacy income is appropriately maximised through efficient management of the current legacy pipeline and the effective marketing of future legacies
- To develop and implement a comprehensive prospect development programme across a range of activities to include in memoriam fundraising
- To oversee a series of legacy cultivation events
- To develop the in memoriam income stream to meet income targets.
Experience and skills
- The preferred candidate must have previous experience of developing a legacy and/or in memoriam fundraising programme
- Previous experience of developing and implementing a fundraising strategy is required for this role
- The successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- The successful candidate must have strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
- An awareness and knowledge of Christian beliefs and values would be highly advantageous for this role
