About the role
You will lead on the management of all our insurance requirements, manage our internal audit programme – both its planning and delivery and ensure continuous improvement and assurance to our Board of Trustees.
You will own the Risk Management Framework and support the Executive Directors and their teams in maintaining the Corporate as well as their own Directorate Risk Registers.
You will line manage the Risk Administrator and, at times, volunteers and interns.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally be ACII or FCII qualified.
You will have a good working knowledge of risk management and insurance (ideally in an international as well as UK context), including all aspects of claims management (an emphasis on public and/or employee liability would be advantageous.
You will have previous experience of running a risk management framework including providing support to internal and external stakeholders and have experience of analysing and presenting specialist information to non-specialist colleagues.
