BWC = Bank Workers Charity 1 role ending 30.06.2021

About the Role

This is a role where you can make a difference.

You will provide independent and confidential information, advice and guidance, along with mentoring support to disabled clients to facilitate their increased financial security, economic contribution and participation in society.  You will help improve their confidence and resilience with the aim of increasing their independence.

About You

Educated to A level standard and with an NVQ IAG qualification at level 3 or equivalent, you will have demonstrable experience of delivering IAG including debt advice for which you hold accredited qualification. You will have experience of working with disabled people, be able to advise on solutions across a range of subject areas and bring a knowledge of statutory support that is available for them.

You will have the ability to work in an accessible way with a range of disabled clients.  You will have strong research, networking and referral skills, along with highly developed inter-personal, negotiating, listening and mentoring skills.  You will be able to work on sensitive and challenging issues, be well organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
