About the Role
In this role you will lead effective marketing programmes and campaigns for donor retention and development. You will play a key part in accelerating revenue growth in line with our 5-year strategy to deliver a step-change in both short and long-term results.
You will participate in the development of an integrated Individual Giving strategy that recruits, retains, and reactivates supporters, maximising their lifetime value and deliver a best in class supporter experience, based on deep insights and data.
You will lead in depth analysis of campaigns and tactical initiatives, producing income projections and lifetime value modelling and forecasts, ensuring the development of a long- term sustainable income stream.
Working closing with our Marketing, CRM teams and suppliers, you will develop and implement excellent Supporter Journeys to retain and upgrade individual supporters and generate income through direct marketing activity. You will manage Individual Giving campaigns ensuring high quality supporter care including responsive and prompt stewardship.
You will contribute to the comprehensive intelligence bank of donors’ insights to ensure highly targeted activity, increasing levels of supporter engagement. Together with the Head of Individual Giving, you will manage the external creative teams to produce fundraising materials.
With experience of managing a range of direct marketing including cold and warm direct mail, telemarketing, lotteries and online activities, you will bring demonstrable experience of using a database to segment and select data, to produce reports and provide information analysis.
You will bring experience of donor stewardship programmes in recruitment and retention and of proactive lifecycle management. You will have significant experience of revenue management including planning and forecasting expenditure.
You will have an understanding of the fundraising creative processes, including copywriting and design in order to produce fundraising materials in house or with external teams.
You will be highly numerate with a good understanding of campaign evaluation and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
