Home based, to travel across the south of the UK

About the Role

We have a vacancy for a Learning and Development Advisor with the flexibility to support other advisors, mostly across the south of the UK. 

This varied role is an exciting challenge for someone keen to work in the charity sector and make a difference. You will join a national team of home-based Learning and Development Advisors across the UK, reporting to the Senior Learning and Development Advisor (South).  You will be working alongside regional and service managers to support their teams in their development and collaborating with others to develop innovative ways of delivering our induction and refresher programme and well as creating bespoke programmes to meet specific learning needs.

About You

Home based in the south of the UK you will be flexible, able to drive, and preferably with experience in the health and social care field, and of delivering training in a care setting.  This role requires considerable travel, often with overnight stays away.  You will need or be prepared to undertake an accredited training qualification for this role, and will have or be prepared to learn, experience of facilitating learning in a virtual setting.

You will need to deliver practical training for Manual Handling Skills Instructors and First Aid, and will be required to achieve accredited trainer status in these fields.
