About the Role
Leonard Cheshire (LC) is currently recruiting for a new finance position. This exciting opportunity will be responsible for managing the day to day finance function for a new innovative employment programme (institutionally funded) which will be implemented across two countries under a consortium approach.
Reporting to the Head of Consortium, this role will work closely with LC international finance team members and in partnership with consortium team members to ensure rigorous budget design, financial monitoring, control and reporting in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. The role will ensure donor financial requirements and local regulations and understood by the consortium and adhered to.
You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills. You will be equipped with strong financial analysis, monitoring and communication skills and bring experience of working with restricted institutional donor funding. You will have a strong awareness of accounting, compliance and financial controls, identifying financial risks and developing risk mitigation strategies.
