Project Lead - All Active Together
Home Based position covering the whole of England so ideally you need to be based in England
This is a fixed term contract over 3 years as part of our National Lottery funding from Sport England.
This is a really exciting opportunity to join our team to lead on and co-ordinate the delivery of our All Active Together to connect volunteers, disabled people and local, grassroots, and national organisations to re-build post-COVID more inclusively, creating equal opportunities to access physical activities, regardless of age, background or ability. As well as enabling individual disabled people to access physical activities, our project also focuses on creating more inclusive communities for the future through making existing provision more accessible.
Part of our community engagement team, you will provide leadership across the project to ensure success, working closely with our delivery team and colleagues across other directorates. You’ll need to have demonstrable experience in project management, volunteer management, and ideally in community development approaches. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively network and build relationships are essential to this varied role.
As this role is home based covering the UK, you must be able to work remotely and undertake travel occasionally, including staying away from home.
