Fixed Term Contract until May 2020
About the Role
This role is to lead and deliver our 2 IAG contracts which are delivered nationally and in the London Borough of Southwark. Our contract with the Bank Workers Charity delivers IAG remotely to disabled people who have a connection to the banking industry, whilst Southwark Advice Plus is delivered to disabled people in Southwark. The majority of advice is connected to benefits, housing, debt and money management, social care and transport, but you will be expected to respond to a wider range of requests for information, advice and guidance. Leonard Cheshire have recently been reaccredited for the Advice Quality Standard and are also Matrix accredited. The appointment is initially to May 2020.
You will bring previous demonstrable experience of delivering Information, Advice and Guidance to disabled people, and a strong track record of supporting clients to make positive improvements to their lives.
You will be comfortable managing a small team and supporting them to ensure the quality of the IAG they deliver is excellent, and also working externally with partners to signpost.
