Day Shifts - 35 hours per week. The shift pattern will include early shifts 07:30 - 14.45 and late day shifts 14:30 - 21:30. We are also considering Support Workers for Occasional hours contracts, great for those looking to work with flexibility.
As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you’ll provide a high level of care and support to vulnerable people, enabling them to live the life they choose. You’ll assist with daily tasks including personal care, medication and assistance at mealtimes, motivating and encouraging choice and participation.
This role is based at The Risings in Exeter. The Risings is home to young people with learning disabilities. We offer an environment where you can be part of a team who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people with learning disabilities.

You don't need any specific qualifications or experience to be a Support Worker with us although experience of providing personal care in a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Health Care Assistant is advantageous. You will receive training and support to build your skills, experience and career.
