Job description

We are looking for a passionate fundraiser with an excellent track record of income generation, who wants to use their skills to make a positive difference to children living in poverty in Luton. 

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Chief Executive to develop our fundraising and communication strategy.
  • Be responsible for delivering the Charity's fundraising strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with a range of potential funders and write major bids.
  • Support the implementation of our communications strategy. 
  • Work with the Chief Executive Officer to seek out and develop new sustainable income streams. 
  • Input into the wider vision and strategy of the charity.

The ideal candidate will have 

  • A track record of income generation of individual amounts of £10,000 or more.
  • Experience in bid writing, report writing, business planning or writing of academic papers. 
  • Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.  
  • Personal drive, determination, integrity and adaptability.
  • Proven track record of managing a demanding workload whilst consistently meeting deadlines.
