Job description

We are looking for a Campaigns and Communications Officer to join the dynamic LRMN team. You should have at least 2 years’ experience in a campaign and communications role in a small to medium size non-profit organisation and a proven track record in developing and implementing campaigns and associated communication and advocacy strategies. Experience of engaging and empowering service users to participate and influence local and national campaigns is a must as well as experience of using social media and digital marketing, including data analysis.

You will take responsibility in our  Borough of Sanctuary campaigns  and collaborate with key local, regional, and national partners in shaping and promoting campaigns most relevant to LRMN’s service users.

You will work closely with LRMN’s Fundraising Officer in producing core messages and other relevant documents to support LRMN’s fundraising strategy and activities and will be responsible in implementing our Communications Strategy and developing our Campaigns Strategy.

To be successful you should be aware of issues and barriers faced by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in accessing appropriate services and support and have a good knowledge and understanding of legislations relevant to them.

LRMN is a thriving organisation and one of the most established refugees and migrants’ organisations providing services in London but focusing in south and southeast London boroughs.
