Job description

LGBT Foundation is looking for an engaging, passionate individual to help amplify the voices of LGBT Communities as our Digital Engagement Officer!

LGBT Foundation’s work is driven by two-way communication with the LGBT communities we serve. Our national influence and visibility continue to grow, and we are looking for a Digital Engagement Officer to join our communications team to manage the day-to-day operation of our social media channels and our website, helping us engage with our local, regional and national audience.

You will work closely with our Communications Manager, Communications Coordinator and the wider services and projects team to grow our social media, online presence and digital activity and help plan and implement significant campaigns that nurture the voices of LGBT communities and promotes our range of projects and services.

The post holder will:

  • be responsible for social media
  • will maintain our website
  • play a vital role in communicating our work to our audience

We are taking positive action to encourage applications from people of colour (PoC) and other racially minoritised communities, trans, non-binary and/or older people (aged 50+), to improve the representation of colleagues from these communities in our staff team.

* Trans is an umbrella & inclusive term used to describe people whose gender identity differs in some way from that which they were assigned at birth; including non-binary people, cross dressers and those who partially or incompletely identify with their sex assigned at birth.

Salary: £18,757 (+10% Pension)
