Are you passionate about using your project management skills to help people with dementia? We are!

The Role

We are looking for an experienced project manager who will be able to proactively lead the Law for Dementia Carers project whilst establishing and cultivating relationships with key external partners and stakeholders.

About You

As Project Manager – Law for Dementia Carers, you will:

  • have experience of successfully leading and delivering complex projects
  • have an understanding of how the health and social care sectors and the legal system work in respect of the care of people with dementia
  • be adept at developing successful partnerships and building strong external relationships
  • have a ‘hands-on’, ‘can do’ attitude to raising the awareness and impact of tide

Life Story Network’s mission is to transform society through the power of life stories - to unlock people’s potential and improve their wellbeing.

tide (soon to become a charity in its own right), works with carers of people with dementia, investing in their personal development to unlock their potential; we empower them to recognise their own value and the contribution they make as individuals and as a collective. We do this through our Carer Development Programme, our Involvement Network and providing influencing opportunities at national, regional and local level.

Location: Home-based in the Greater Manchester area with some travel
Hours: Part-time (17.5 hours a week) to be worked flexibly in accordance with business needs
Duration: Two-year fixed term contract
