If so we have a vacancies for 2 female* Support Worker within our Supported Accommodation situated in Slough.

About the job
If you have a genuine passion for working with young women and their children and a desire to learn, we can give you the training to succeed and develop.
You will need to have empathy and understanding of the needs of young people dealing with pregnancy or bringing up a young child, and the barriers they face. You can show us you have experience of or the ability to provide high quality support whilst managing challenging situations. You have to be committed to the organisation’s ethos and bring enthusiasm and willingness to practical tasks. You can demonstrate an ability to maintain appropriate and professional boundaries with clients at all times.
You should have at least 4 years experience working with young pople, basic IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills and understand the importance of working within equal opportunities, the benefits system and safeguarding and adhering confidentiality guidelines. You should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You should have good life skills and some knowledge of this field would be beneficial but not essential.
