Lifecentre is a medium sized charity that supports survivors of rape and sexual abuse across West Sussex. We are recruiting an Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is an excellent opportunity to work for a great cause and gain leadership experience.
The Operations Manager will oversee key business support and operational activity, co-ordinating the office base to ensure that Lifecentre operates smoothly and in accordance with legal and professional standards. The role includes responsibility for: operational policies and procedures, client support team management, management of buildings and facilities, oversight of finance and payroll, GDPR and data management, oversight of IT systems, data management, Health & Safety, quality assurance and risk and compliance with Charity Governance.
You will provide leadership for the Operations Team and be responsible for delivery of quality, performance and continued improvement across the services, including looking externally to develop partnership opportunities to drive efficiencies whilst maintaining quality.
We are looking for a self-motivated person with initiative. The ability to prioritise their own work and that of their team is required. The ideal candidate will have office management experience, possessing excellent IT skills and have experience in use of all basic computer software including Microsoft Office. Excellent organisational skills are required and ability to set up efficient systems, including data management. Excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to multi-task are also required. Good numeracy skills are essential.
This post could be considered as a full-time role for one individual meeting all competencies. Alternatively, we would consider a job share.
