- Do you want to build your CV by getting involved in strategic leadership?
- Do you have skills and experience that can make a difference to a charity?
- Are you ambitious and creative?
If you have a social conscience and would like to get involved in a charity that’s making an impact and helping individuals and families then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
LionHeart provides training and development opportunities, information and advice, counselling and grants to professionals facing challenges in their lives.
We’re looking for up to three new trustees to help shape the future of LionHeart and to ensure that we continue to grow and achieve.
Don’t worry if you don’t have previous board experience - we’re more interested in getting the right people.
We’re based in Birmingham but our services are available nationally and internationally. Board meetings are in London or Birmingham and reasonable expenses are paid so if you’re interested please apply, wherever you’re based.
What we’re looking for: We’re particularly interested in hearing from BAME applicants, women and younger people (under 30). Do you have lived experience of mental ill health/long term physical health conditions and/or significant life challenges? Or do you support someone who does? If so, we’re interested in hearing from you.
Would this be your first governance role? Don’t worry; we can provide a full induction, training and even a mentor to ease you into the role. Don’t let lack of experience put you off.
Although LionHeart is the charity for RICS professionals, you do not need to be an RICS professional to be a trustee, and we would like to encourage non RICS professionals to apply.
