£29,200 - £32,500 plus car allowance per annum
Job description
An exciting opportunity has opened up to manage a 51 bed housing and support service in Bristol, which helps young people up to the age of 25 with a range of complex needs including experience of homelessness or rough sleeping, substance misuse and mental health.
Bristol Foyer offers 31 units of accommodation to young people aged 16-21 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and Bristol care leavers up to their 25th birthday and in need of support to gain skills to live independently.  We also offer 20 units of affordable accommodation for young people who are in education, training and employment and able to live independently.
In this role you will be responsible for:

- Managing all aspects of service delivery including casework management, staff line management and the daily running of busy Foyer.
- Promoting an inclusive and passionate culture.
- Leading a team to support young people to unlock their potential, encouraging them to fulfill their aspirations.
- Ensure good quality communication and liaison with all stakeholders involved in the day-to-day provision of the support service.
- Recruitment, induction, management, supervision of the support team providing support to residents.
- Managing support team effectively within the scope of our policies, procedures and service requirements.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- A natural ability to motivate, lead and manage a team to inspire young people to unlock their talent and achieve their aspirations
- An excellent understanding of the issues affecting homelessness and a proven track record in managing support contracts and services for vulnerable young people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop good working relationships with customers, colleagues and external contacts.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written, and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Passion in working with young people and supported housing along with a flexible approach that adapts to service and customer changing needs.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment whist remaining focused and positive
