As a Support Worker, you will based at two of our Learning Disability Schemes in South Gloucestershire between which you will be expected to split your working day, providing housing related support to over 20 customers with learning disabilities.
You will support individuals in paying their rent, dealing with low level anti-social behaviour, carrying out activities to support residents in building relationships with their neighbours and improving their environment, and ensuring a smooth running of the schemes. The two schemes are roughly three miles apart and you will be expected to drive between them on a daily basis. Access to a car and a driving licence is therefore essential.
This role is varied and will also involve working with our Housing Officer and individual Support Workers from other providers to ensure that the best service and accommodation we can provide is achieved.
To be considered for the role of Housing Support Worker, you will:
- Have experience of providing support or care work to a vulnerable client group
- Have knowledge of the benefits system
- Have experience of working in a team
- Good IT skills
- Full valid UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.

This role is being offered on a full time basis, working 37 hours per week on a rolling rota, to include some weekend working.
