We are Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.
We want to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation. We want to achieve a better walking environment and to inspire people of all generations to enjoy the benefits the simple act of walking brings.
Join us and together we will create a walking nation.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator in the Liverpool City Region. You will coordinate the delivery of a project working with primary schools to increase walking, and act as a key contact for delivery partners, liaising with primary schools and any other stakeholders, as appropriate.
You will be responsible for recruiting primary schools, organising the distribution of resources, supporting project audiences, delivering activities and undertaking project evaluation activity.
This will be a varied role and an ability to embrace a diversity of tasks is essential.
This role will be home-based initially, with a view to being based at the Liverpool City Region offices when they re-open and it is considered safe to do so.
Living Streets is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk; and expects all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be subject to background and criminal records checks as relevant to the job role.
