Job description

Now is an exciting time to take on the leadership of the LWF working with our dynamic team and diverse network of supporters and stakeholders. Over the past year growth in accredited Living Wage employers was the strongest on record and we have broken new ground by broadening the scope of our work into Living Hours, Making Living Wage Places and our Global Living Wage Initiative. Like all organisations, we are reviewing and adjusting our plans and priorities in response to the impact of the Covid-19 but are clear that the need for a real Living Wage and Living Hours will be a critical component of how we build back better post pandemic.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader who will combine strategy, pragmatism and political nous with excellent relationship-building and team leadership skills. An exceptional communicator and campaigner you will influence and engage with a range of employers, partner organisations, media and other stakeholders to deliver on LWF objectives.

This post can be 4 or 5 days a week, we aim to support working parents\carers and are flexible in our approach. The role is based from our office in Whitechapel.  

We are also open to filling the vacancy with a secondment from a Living Wage Employer or other suitable organisations.
