London School of Theology is seeking to recruit a full-time IT Support Engineer. This role would suit someone who with an aptitude for technology and problem-solving, and an aspiration for a career in IT. LST can provide training where necessary and the successful candidate will gain experience in supporting a broad range of systems and people with various IT requirements and abilities.
The postholder will be the first point of contact responsible for delivering a high standard of first line IT support to LST employees and on occasion students. This role will involve managing calls and working with the ticketing system to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Tasks include but are not limited to:
• Being the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance with computer, printers, projectors issues and other IT systems, advising possible solutions or follow the escalation process
• Creating, updating and maintaining LST’s ticketing system in accordance with ITIL Foundation standards
• Monitoring the LST IT infrastructure using LST’s monitoring and alerting systems
• Configure and support employees’ computers, both onsite and remote
The successful candidate will have experience in supporting Windows 10 OS, including troubleshooting of events, and experience and understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory and ticketing systems; have the ability to quickly assess each employee's IT knowledge level and relate accordingly; and be committed to providing excellent customer service. Some experience working with Audio Visual equipment will be advantageous.
