Our vision is a London alive with nature, where everyone can experience and enjoy wildlife. We’re looking for someone to join our fundraising team to provide administrative support and excellent supporter care for our wonderful donors.
You may be looking for your first charity fundraising role or looking to move from a more general charity administrative role into supporter care. You do not need direct experience of fundraising but you will be enthusiastic about joining the world of fundraising and willing to learn, and you will need some experience of keeping good administrative records and providing excellent customer service.
This is a fixed term role for 6 months, with potential to become a permanent role depending on delivery of our membership campaigns post Covid-19.
You will work closely with our Database and Supporter Services Officer to make sure our fundraising database holds up-to-date, accurate supporter information, and to make sure all membership processes run smoothly including sending our welcome packs, recording donation information and signing up new members. You will also be the first point of contact between supporters and the Trust, making sure you provide a warm, friendly and positive supporter experience.
You will also work closely with our Supporter Marketing and Communications Officer to support the fulfilment of fundraising campaigns and appeals, and gather content for supporter newsletters.
You will have excellent organisational and admin skills, with really strong attention to detail. You will also have excellent communication skills.
We can provide excellent insight into the work of a small but high performing fundraising team, and you will benefit from a combination of internal and external training to help your development.
