We are delighted to be partnering with our well-respected international charity client in Bristol in their recruitment for an experienced Senior IT Manager.
In this IT department leadership role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the executive team and technical group to develop, design and deliver the technology strategy for the organisation. You’ll manage and have oversight of all technical projects and systems, including servers, hardware and software. You’ll also line manage the IT Support Officer.
With your IT management skills earned in either the commercial or the charity sector, you will advise and provide training on new technical platforms. You’ll possess a sound understanding of GDPR legislation and will act as Data Protection Officer for the organisation.

To be considered for this role you must possess strong IT management level skills and have experience in working with senior leadership teams to design and develop IT strategy and projects.
- Experience working as an IT manager in either the commercial, charity or public sectors.
- Possess good people management and strategic thought leadership skills, and have the gravitas to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proven strong management of IT infrastructure, with a technical understanding of as many of the following applications as possible: Microsoft Azure, Veeam, Watchguard Firewall & Livesecurity, Slack, Box, CRM systems (Hubspot), Ubiquiti Unifi WiFi, SaaS, Cyber Security, Access Dimensions & Access Group products, Messagelabs, Windows server (2012, 2019)
- Proven experience in managing an IT department’s budget, including quarterly forecasting and delivering reports.
