The SDTS Advisor supports the design, development, and quality assurance of Lumos' demonstration programmes, as well as technical support external stakeholders. The role requires rapid assessment skills and the ability to integrate and contextualise qualitative and quantitative information in order to make informed recommendations to contribute to Lumos’ transforming care objectives. This role may require considerable international travel.

The SDTS Advisor will be supporting the design, development, and quality assurance of Lumos' demonstration programmes, as well as external stakeholders, including governments, civil society and service providers, that are considering or are going through the process of care transformation.
This support involves the design, development and quality assurance of services and strategies, and is provided through a combination of training, in-depth technical advice and the development of technical resources and toolkits.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work with a wide variety of contacts and be able to represent Lumos credibly at the highest levels in relationships with external contacts, especially those representing overseas Government Ministries or other institutions.
The post holder will have sound ICT skills and strong technical expertise related to transforming care within children’s services. You will be required to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams to meet or exceed delivery targets and achieve client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering complex long-term programmes to high quality standards and within budget.
You must be able to demonstrate significant experience of care transformation, or in related areas (such as health and social care, child protection and safeguarding and/or inclusive education, etc) in a trainer, technical or practitioner position and therefore experience of delivering training and/or technical advice for the position is essential.
