Lymphoma Action is a national charity that provides information and support to people affected by lymphoma – the fifth most common cancer in the UK. This role will manage the administration of the volunteering programme and support the involvement of volunteers across the organisation.
Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week)
Location: Flexible/hybrid – with some time working at head office, Aylesbury
Salary: FTE £20,000 per annum (pro-rata: £12,000 for 21 hours p/w)
Do you have administration experience, great people skills and want to make a difference supporting people affected by lymphoma? If so, we are looking for a highly organised individual to join our small and friendly team.
This is an exciting and varied role and you will provide a high-quality experience for our invaluable volunteer community, so that together, we can make sure no one has to face lymphoma alone. Working closely with the Volunteering Development Manager and key staff members you will provide effective volunteering administration, support and communication and will champion volunteering across the organisation.
To be successful you will need to be:
- Highly organised and process driven with a flexible and responsive approach to work
- An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with people
- Focused with excellent IT and digital skills
- Collaborative with strong team working skills
