Experienced in working with and selecting marketing data? Keen to use those skills to help us reach and improve the lives of people affected by cancer? With your expertise you’ll play a pivotal role in utilising our database marketing systems and tools to maximise use of all available data and assist fundraisers in their UK-wide, national, regional and local marketing activity.
About the role
To that end, you will generate data selections - run against suppressions and exclusions, for multi-channel campaigns, ensuring that the data is both accurate and timely. Working as part of a team, you’ll apply developed interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships with external suppliers and to work collaboratively with colleagues throughout Macmillan. Your excellent communication skills will also enable you to clearly and simply explain technical issues to non-technical people.
You will need a logical mindset and methodical approach, the ability to deal with complex data selections and to manipulate predominantly text based data with ease. Your technical skills must therefore include advanced MS Excel. Ideally you will also have experience of Faststats/Cascade. A knowledge of the law relating to privacy and data storage is essential.
