We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Manager to work in the Birmingham, Black Country and Staffordshire area, within our Wales & West Midlands Fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Regional Fundraising Team at Macmillan Cancer Support.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to build, develop and maintain relationships with Corporates, Individuals, Fundraising Groups, Groups & Associations and volunteers. You would support people to maximise their fundraising and recognise the difference that they are helping to make for people affected by cancer.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills who is confident working independently as well as a team player. You will also be adept at planning and prioritising to meet the multiple calls on your time. You will thrive from contributing to the area income target as well as non-financial targets. Using all these skills and traits, you'll create and implement an innovative plan.
You may already be working in regional fundraising but we also welcome applications from candidates from a corporate partnership/new business background, or those with account management or sales manager experience.

Macmillan’s Fundraising Managers are home based mobile workers who travel extensively within the defined geographical area for their role. You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application. A car allowance is provided with the role.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and some unsocial and out of hours working to support evening and weekend activity: you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.
First stage interview/assessment centre planned for 7th November. For those successful at the first stage, there will also be second interviews on the 13th November.
