Job description

Fundraising Manager – London
1x Fixed Term (Covering Secondment)
1x Fixed Term (Covering Family Leave)

£29,500 - £34,500 + car allowance + benefits

Are you positive and results-driven with an impressive track record in fundraising, sales or account management?

Why do we ask? Because one in two people will develop cancer in their lifetime and it’s our aim to raise enough funds to be there for each one of them.

We have two fantastic opportunities to join the Regional Fundraising Team at Macmillan Cancer Support. These positions offer exciting opportunities to build, develop and maintain relationships with Corporates, Individuals and Groups & Associations volunteers and key internal stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills who is confident working independently as well as a team player. You will also be adept at planning and prioritising to meet the multiple calls on your time. You will thrive from contributing to the area income target as well as non financial targets. Using all these skills and traits, you'll create and implement an innovative plan.

You may already be working in regional fundraising but we also welcome applications from candidates from a corporate partnership/new business background, or those with account management or sales manager experience.

And what do we do for you in return for your enthusiasm and commitment? We commit to actively developing your development. Other benefits include private medical insurance, life assurance, pension, generous leave and interest-free loans for season ticket and gym

Macmillan’s Fundraising Managers are home based mobile workers who travel extensively within the defined geographical area for their role. You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application. A car allowance is provided with the role.

There will also be a requirement for flexible and some unsocial and out of hours working to support evening and weekend activity: you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Recruitment process:
First stage interviews planned for 19th of November.

For those successful at the first stage, there will also be second interviews on the 27th of November
