Head of Strategic Communications & Engagement
Fixed Term (18 Months - Covering Internal Secondment)
£70,000 - £75,000
In this critical communications role, you’ll work closely with leadership to help employees feel informed, listened to and valued, creating an army of passionate ambassadors that can effectively champion everything Macmillan does for people affected by cancer in the UK.
Working closely with colleagues in HR, and Strategy Delivery, you’ll lead the embedding of the employee engagement strategy, ensuring the right messages reach the right people at the right time and in the right way.
A strategic thinker and strong storyteller, you'll apply intelligence, insight and influence to lead a team in the development and delivery of compelling internal campaigns and events to support the delivery of Macmillan’s corporate strategy and change programmes.
Your stakeholders work across and outside the organisation and you will possess fantastic relationship building and influencing skills, enabling you to understand and connect with colleagues from front line operations to business support functions, people living with cancer and the health and social care professionals that support them.
You will have a demonstrable track record of leading a large and innovative engagement and internal communications function which has delivered clear value to the organisation and be an inspirational leader with the strong relationship building skills needed to influence people at all levels of the organisation.
