Reporting to the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Macmillan's Strategy in the Midlands and specifically across Leicester, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
In this role you will be responsible for the co-ordination of Macmillan’s strategic and operational relationships with partners and act as their main point of contact.
Your role will support and guide partner organisations to develop new proposals and continuously improve the quality of cancer services (both Macmillan and non-Macmillan). You will need to demonstrate experience of managing and implementing complex change across a range of organisations and professions, and a demonstrable understanding of service improvement and system redesign.
Collaborative working is vitally important to Macmillan, therefore you will need to have experience of working in partnership across the Health and Social Care Sector including influencing, negotiating and managing key partnerships and contracts.
Experience in relationship management, matrix working, analysing data, delivering outcomes and managing budgets through the grant system, will be essential for the effective delivery of this role.
You will use your management and leadership skills to manage, develop, coach and support the Partnership Quality Leads to continuously implement and improve the quality of existing and new cancer services.This is your chance to have a real influence and impact by playing a key role in the enhancement and development of cancer services and ultimately help more people feel supported, informed and better able to cope.
