We are looking for a creative and inspiring Media & PR Manager to come and join us at Macmillan Cancer Support, one of the UK’s best loved and most trusted charities.
The successful candidate will manage the development and delivery of our media activity across a wide range of topics, from fundraising to policy influencing and much more. They will manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internally at Macmillan and externally.
Good experience of creating, project managing, and evaluating high profile PR campaigns is a must and and the right person will have a proven track record of gaining cut-through across multiple channels against a busy news agenda. They will also have good experience of dealing with reputational issues and the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are key when working within our large and busy charity.
The role has line management responsibility for at least one Media & PR Officer, so we welcome candidates with strong people management experience.
