People Services Adviser
Full time: 34.5 hours per week
£30,000 - £34,500 per annum
Please note this role is currently remote. Once we return to the office the role will be based both at home and in our London office.
Are you passionate about guiding and empowering managers in dealing with complex employee relations issues? Do you have a solid understanding of UK employment law? Are you able to deliver commercial and pragmatic outcomes?
If so then our People Services Adviser role may be the perfect fit....
Working within our People Services team, you'll be managing all employee relations and change casework, working closely with managers and our HR Business Partners to deliver commercially focused outcomes. You'll manage cases across the entire ER remit, from sickness absence and misconduct through to supporting on grievances and appeals.
Whilst a good portion of this role is working through your casework you will also spend time covering the People Services phone line and inbox in order to act as a source of support and escalation for the People Services Coordinators in responding to first line policy queries.
Day to day you can expect to be doing the following....
- Supporting on the phone line and inbox
- Meeting with managers and the HR Business Partners to manage complex casework
- Supporting on the delivery of change programmes in line with our Macmillan values and processes
- Providing guidance and coaching to the People Services Coordinators
