Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity (Until March 2023)
3 days per week (20 hours)
Location: Work from home with the ability to travel to London (Vauxhall) and other locations in the UK (depending on COVID-19 guidance).

Are you a registered diagnostic or therapeutic radiographer looking for a new challenge and interested in promoting your profession? 

In collaboration with the Society of Radiographers and Health Education England (HEE), we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Macmillan’s Centre of Clinical Expertise.

About the roles

There are two roles available, one for a diagnostic radiographer and one for a therapeutic radiographer.

During this three day a week secondment, these positions involve supporting and informing the workforce strategy for Macmillan and Health Education England’s funded radiographer workforce reform programme being led by the Society of Radiographers.

The post holders will bring insight, ideas and thought leadership to the roles to inform cancer workforce development, education and training offers for the workforce supporting people with cancer and identifying innovative service models involving Allied Health Professionals and the wider workforce.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with evidence of management and clinical leadership experience and a strong interest in workforce development and service transformation.

You will need to have good working knowledge of the current healthcare and social care system and current issues impacting on delivery, the ability to build and sustain networks and professional relationships and work with multi-professional teams.
