Relationship Fundraising Manager - Scotland South and West
Full-time: 34.5hrs per week
£26,500.00 to £31,500.00 per annum

Why do we ask? Because one in three people will develop cancer in their lifetime and it’s our aim to raise enough funds to be there for each and every one of them. Relationship fundraising already generates over £18m a year across the UK, but we need someone like you to help us raise much more and encourage more people to take part in what we do.
What is the role?
As part of the Relationship Fundraising team, you will deliver first class bespoke stewardship across Macmillan's Fundraising Portfolio, working as one team to deliver a shared fundraising target for the territory. You will ensure you understand supporter motivations helping them to get involved with Macmillan in the way that suits them best as well as ensuring appropriate levels of communication, stewardship, recognition and show the impact on people affected by cancer.
We are looking for someone with excellent relationship and account management experience who has the ability to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders while managing expectations. You will place the supporter at the heart of everything you do with experience of cultivating, developing and stewarding supporters to deliver a first-class experience. You will have sound planning and organisational skills and able to work to deadlines in a multi-tasking environment.
Success in this role demands a proactive, hands on approach to deliver a shared target for the territory, as well as an individual target for a personal supporter portfolio of relationships measured by conversion, retention and average value.
In addition to the above you will have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as experience of dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

This role is home based and there will be some travel across the territory. You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application and a car allowance is provided with the role. There will also be a requirement for flexible and some unsocial and out of hours working to support evening and weekend activity: you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.
